About this website
Fourteen tours cover the same stretch of Veneto wine country in five formats (see Verona Cooking Class: Food and Wine Experiences in the Veneto Countryside). Each card carries a US-dollar from-price taken from its listing, running from $34 to $632, (checked September 2026) plus a rating and review count read on separate passes. Making the differences between those listings legible is the entire job of this site.
What this site covers, and for whom
This site compares tours. It does not run them. There is no vehicle, no guide on the payroll, no booking office and no reservation system of any kind. Every purchase happens on the operator's own listing, where the voucher, the pickup details and the cancellation terms are held. Nobody here can reserve a seat, shift a date or process a refund.
The reader it is written for has a few days in Verona and wants to give one of them to wine. That reader is usually juggling two or three browser tabs in which the descriptions read nearly word for word. Duration alone tells you little, since a full day can mean roughly five hours on one listing and eight on another, and the longer day is not automatically the better one. Lunch included might mean a seated meal at a second winery, or it might mean nothing of the sort on a listing that leaves you to buy your own. A page that repeats the phrase without unpacking it has told you nothing you could not have read yourself.
The other question this reader is weighing is whether to book a tour at all. The Valpolicella Classico communes sit a short drive north-west of the city, Soave lies east beyond the autostrada, and Bardolino sits on the Lake Garda shore to the west. Italy's blood-alcohol limit is 0.5 g/l for drivers and 0.0 for new and professional drivers, wineries receive visitors by reservation with most estates open Monday to Saturday, and Verona's historic centre is a camera-controlled ZTL with 11 gates.
Independence is the reason any of this deserves your time. The site is author-less, written and maintained in a research and reporting voice, with no named persona and no first-person claim of having taken any particular tour. No operator has paid to appear here or to rank higher on a page, and none was offered the option. Every rating and review count on the cards can be checked against the listing it came from.
How the fourteen tours were checked
Each listing was opened and read on its own. Nothing here was borrowed from another comparison site, a press release or an operator's brochure.

Three things this site will not do
Where the money comes from
No minibus leaves from this website. It sells nothing, holds no seats and never touches a payment. Booking, vouchers, pickup details and cancellation all happen on the operator's live listing, which is where your contract sits too.
What funds the work is the links. Book through one and the booking platform passes back part of its own cut from the operator; nothing is added to what you pay. Arrive at the same listing another way and the price on screen is identical. The disclosure page sets out the mechanics in full, including which platforms are involved.
